The application for the 2026-2028 cohort of the Teach for Mongolia Fellowship Program has officially closed

This year’s recruitment period ran from February 25 to April 1. During this time, a series of information sessions, career development activities, and social leadership events were organized at universities as part of the campaign.


As part of the recruitment campaign, the following activities were implemented:

  • At the National University of Mongolia (NUM), the “Lead Tomorrow” event was organized, featuring speakers including D.Nomin, Partner at Mahonylotta LLP and Board Chair of “Teach for Mongolia” NGO; T.Uuganbayar, Executive VP, Operations at Khan Bank and Board Member of “Teach for Mongolia” NGO; B.Khulan, Deputy Minister of Finance; and B.Temuulen, CEO of the Chingis Khaan Sovereign Wealth Fund. The speakers shared their professional experiences and career journeys with students.


  • At the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE), a “Teacher Career Development” was held. Alumni S.Munkhbaatar, L.Burenbayar, O.Baljinnyam, and S.Nursulu were invited to share their experiences, including the knowledge gained during the program, challenges in the teaching profession, achievements with their students, and insights on youth leadership in society.


  • At the Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS), an information session and open discussion were organized for students majoring in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Economics.


  • At the University of the Humanities (UH), an open event was held for students interested in the program, providing detailed information about the Fellowship’s purpose, opportunities, and impact.


These events contributed significantly to introducing young people to opportunities in the education sector and youth leadership, while also raising broader awareness of the program’s goals and impact.
