š§ļø JULY HIGHLIGHTS š
Hope you had a wonderful Naadam! š²š³ We hope you spent the festive Naadam days traveling, relaxing, and creating lasting memories with your loved ones. As we enjoy the beauty of summer, we're excited to share Teach For Mongolia's July newsletter, featuring this month's highlights and key updates.
Graduation Ceremony for the 2024ā2026 Cohort of the Teacher Fellowship Programme
ššļøāØ On July 1, we successfully held the Graduation Ceremony for the 2024ā2026 Cohort of the Teacher Fellowship Programme. šš
š± Over the past two years, our 2024ā2026 Fellows demonstrated unwavering commitment to advancing educational equity. š«š They served in five schools across four provinces, directly reaching and supporting more than 2,900 students. š©āš«šØāš«š
š We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our 11 graduates, who dedicated their knowledge, skills, and passion to reducing educational inequality and creating opportunities for every child to build the future they aspire to. šā¤ļø
āØ Building on the paths they have paved and the impact they have created, Teach For Mongolia will continue to grow each year and work together with future Fellows to make a lasting contribution to education. š±š¤š
Summer Training āļøš
šāØ The 5th Cohort Summer Training of the Teacher Fellowship Programme has been taking place in a blended format, combining in-person and virtual learning, from June 22 to August 4. š«
Throughout the training, participants have explored key concepts that build the foundation for both their personal growth and professional development as teachers. š” They have also engaged in sessions on leadership theory, core values, team systems, and the role individuals play in fostering effective and collaborative teams. š©š»āš«šāØ
āļøš During the in-person sessions, participants have strengthened their understanding of the education system, the teaching profession, and essential teaching competencies. š« They are also developing practical skills in classroom management and effective strategies for responding to different classroom situations. š±š©āš«
š§ š In addition, participants have expanded their knowledge and skills in psychological safety, as well as understanding students' behaviors and psychological development, helping them create more supportive and inclusive learning environments. šāØ
During the Summer Training, participants also had the opportunity to learn from a number of guest speakers, who generously shared their knowledge, experiences, and professional insights. š¤š”
