☀️ August, warm and bright like a perfect summer day, is also coming to an end. As we say goodbye to the final days of summer and welcome the beginning of a new academic year, let’s look back together at the highlights and memorable moments of the past month. 🌿📚✨
Teach For Mongolia’s 5th Cohort Summer Institute Has Come to an End 🎓🗞👩🏻🎓
The 6-week in-person summer training for Cohort 5, which ran from June 22 to August 4, has successfully come to an end. 🎓✨ As part of the training, participants completed a comprehensive 7-module, 256-hour program designed to develop their knowledge and skills. 📚🌱
The summer training covered not only teaching methodologies, but also a wide range of topics, including innovative approaches, becoming changemakers and leaders in rural communities, teacher ethics, and core values. The program was designed based on four years of experience and learning. 💡🧑🏫🌿

🌏 Closing Event of IOM’s “Mongol Diaspora” Programme
The IOM “Mongol Diaspora” Programme interns who completed their internships at Teach For Mongolia took part in the programme’s closing event, where they shared the experiences they gained and the lessons they learned throughout their internships. 💬✨
During the closing event, the interns reflected on their time together, shared m
emorable moments, and talked about their future goals and plans, successfully bringing the programme to an end. 🎓🌱

🎬 “The Choice to Serve” | Inspiring Asia
🎬 The national selection of the “Inspiring Asia” Short Film Festival in Mongolia, which aims to inspire positive social change through filmmaking, was successfully held. This year, under the theme “Community Empowerment”, or “Unite, Empower, Develop,” the festival selected the best films that will represent Mongolia at the international stage. 🌏✨
The Teach For Mongolia team also took part in the festival with our film “The Choice to Serve,” sharing the work of the “Teacher Mission” programme, the choices made by our teachers, and the changes they are creating to promote equal access to education and expand opportunities for every child. 📚💙
We are proud to have shared our voice on the same stage with organizations and filmmakers working to create positive social change through their respective fields. ✨ More than simply participating in a competition, this film was an opportunity to share the values and mission of Teach For Mongolia with a wider audience. 🎥

✨ A New Journey for Our Teachers Begins ✨
Our 2025–2026 Fellowship cohort teachers have set off for their assigned schools to begin their teaching journey in local communities. 🧑🏫📚
For the 2026–2027 academic year, a total of 24 teachers have been placed across 9 schools in 6 provinces and 8 soums, where they will begin working to bring quality education to every child in rural communities. 💙
🗣️ “Solution-Oriented Students” Raise Their Voices at COP17
🌍 As part of the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), G. Dondogdulam, a 2025 participant of Teach For Mongolia’s “Solution-Oriented Students” programme, successfully represented Teach For Mongolia and young people at the panel discussion “Investing in Children and Youth for Land Restoration and a Greener Future,” jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Save the Children in Mongolia. 🌱🎤✨
She shared her experiences and perspectives on the importance of supporting the voices, initiatives, and meaningful participation of children and young people 🌿, as well as how youth can actively contribute to addressing pressing environmental challenges. 💚🌏🗣️🤝✨
