“CATALYST STUDENTS" PROGRAM

The “CATALYST STUDENTS” project provides training for teachers and students of secondary schools in rural areas on topics such as climate change, environmental protection, sustainable development, and entrepreneurial thinking. Furthermore, it empowers them to implement initiatives and projects that address local challenges.

ABOUT PROGRAM

Through my participation in the Catalyst Student project, I learned a tremendous amount. I became more outgoing and socially active. I was also able to deepen my knowledge of climate change and share it with other students. This had a positive impact on the younger children as well.

I also came to realize that leading and guiding others is not about commanding people, but about being able to genuinely listen to and embrace everyone's thoughts and opinions.

For me, the Catalyst Student project in three words:

A bright, colorful, future.

Our Dundgovi province ranks among the highest in the country in terms of desertification rate. For this reason, we implemented a project to build a hydroponic system — a soil-free, water-based growing method — capable of cultivating vegetables indoors across all four seasons, with the goal of supplying fresh greens and vegetables to our school's 'School Lunch' program.

At first, I underestimated myself and had many doubts, wondering whether I could secure funding through this project or even make it to the closing event. I lacked confidence in the project proposal I had written and struggled to express myself. But after the program, my self-confidence grew enormously, and I began to push myself further and further.

For me, the Catalyst Student project in three words:

Openness, success, capability
