OCTOBER MONTHLY HIGHLIGHTS
The mild days of autumn are over and the winter frost is coming… Let’s look back together at the highlights of last month.
🌱The “Catalyst Student” Program Has Begun Its Third Year🌱
The “Catalyst Student” program, initiated and implemented by Teach for Mongolia to equip teachers and students with climate education, has begun its third year, funded by the King Baudouin Foundation and the international Teach for All network. This year, 15 schools in 13 soums of 8 aimags are taking part. 🌍✨
A total of 44 teachers and 470 students registered for the program. Of these, 30 lead teachers and 70 lead students were selected to attend the project’s opening event, which was successfully held in Ulaanbaatar on October 8–9.

🏫During the opening event, students took part in a two-day leadership program and learned skills in teamwork, problem identification, and solution development.
One distinctive feature this year was that teachers learned practical methodology. During the opening event, teachers attended four training modules covering the scientific foundations of climate change, experiments, and project-based methodology.📝💡
✨Lead self, Lead others, Lead Change… ✨

Starting October 14, more than 470 students from 15 schools in 8 aimags across the country began their four-module online training together with their facilitating teachers. 💻🧪

🏫The “Rural School Leadership” Program Has Begun Its Second Year 🌱
The “Teach for Mongolia” NGO has successfully completed a two-day in-person training at each of the 10 schools in 9 soums of 8 aimags participating in the Rural School Leadership Program (RSLP).

🌐The AI Leaders 250: Mongolia Program Has Officially Launched
On October 29, the “AI Leaders 250: Mongolia” program was officially launched. It was initiated by Teach for Mongolia in cooperation with Grow with Google Mongolia and supported by the U.S. Embassy’s Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF 2026) program.🎊
🎓The program will select the 100 top students studying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and information technology, and provide them with free, practical training that combines artificial intelligence, leadership, and innovation for 5 months. 💡Throughout the program, students will form teams and develop AI-based projects that solve real problems facing society.
They will present their results at the “Freedom 250 AI Innovation Showcase” in February.🌐🏆
