In 2026, Teach for Mongolia launched its renewed recruitment campaign under the slogan

“Leaders of Tomorrow.” The campaign repositioned the Fellowship not only as a teaching opportunity, but as a leadership development journey focused on creating long-term social impact.

From January to March 2026, the campaign combined digital outreach, university engagement, webinars, and public events to connect with aspiring young leaders across Mongolia.

University Outreach Across Mongolia

A major focus of the 2026 recruitment strategy was direct university engagement. Activities were organized at leading universities including the National University of Mongolia, Mongolian National University of Education, and Mongolian University of Life Sciences.

The outreach activities included:

  • Campus leadership events

  • Classroom presentations

  • Information booths

  • One-on-one student engagement

Through these activities, hundreds of students learned about educational equity, leadership, and opportunities to create change in rural communities.

  • 78% have prior professional work experience, and 22% are new graduates

  • 67% come from non-teaching professional backgrounds, reflecting diverse expertise and leadership potential

  • 33% have teaching experience or qualifications

  • The average age of selected candidates is 27 years old

  • The majority of applicants held a bachelor’s degree, while others had master’s or vocational qualifications

Looking Ahead

The 2026 recruitment campaign demonstrated a growing interest in leadership-driven social impact among young professionals and graduates across Mongolia. Through strengthened university outreach, digital engagement, and inclusive selection processes, Teach For Mongolia continued to attract individuals committed to educational equity and community development.
