Throughout October, we conducted the “Catalyst Student” project’s module training online.

The training consisted of four sessions, with approximately 500 students from 15 schools actively participating. Participants gained knowledge and experience in areas such as climate change, addressing social issues, increasing student engagement, and developing teamwork and leadership skills.

The training enabled students to study how climate change is occurring globally and in Mongolia, understand its social and environmental impacts, and examine the causes and consequences of land degradation as well as measures to combat desertification, using local case studies for analysis. Additionally, students identified ways they can contribute both individually and collectively to environmental protection and positive social change.

A distinctive feature of the training was that students engaged in experiments and practical activities, applying the knowledge they acquired, and gained hands-on experience in problem-solving methods.
