Teach For All CEO & Co-Founder Wendy Kopp and Teach For All APAC Regional Director Ankana Sheth visited Mongolia from June 21–24 and met with the Teach For Mongolia team and key stakeholders in the education sector.
During the visit, Wendy Kopp Founder of Teach For America and Co-Founder & CEO of Teach For All met with our fellowship teachers, alumni, government representatives, and partner organizations. She had the opportunity to hear the stories, aspirations, and shared commitment of those working together to advance educational equity in Mongolia. The two-year Teach For All fellowship is about far more than teaching in classrooms. It is the beginning of a leadership journey that brings together individuals who believe every child in Mongolia deserves access to a quality education. This visit served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen collaboration, exchange perspectives, and reaffirm our collective commitment to creating lasting impact for children and communities across Mongolia.

The Teach For Mongolia program team successfully participated in the Teach For All regional learning convening held in Malaysia.
Representatives from Teach For Mongolia joined the RSM (Recruitment, Selection, Mobilization) meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, alongside Teach For All partner organizations from across the Asia-Pacific region. Bringing together people united by a shared mission to recruit, inspire, and support the next generation of leaders created a truly valuable space for learning and collaboration. Participants exchanged ideas, shared experiences, and explored ways to strengthen recruitment and selection efforts to reach and develop more impactful leaders.Through collective learning, shared leadership, and collaborative impact, we continue our journey toward creating greater educational equity for all children.

Teach For Mongolia has officially launched its internship collaboration in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM)’s Mongol Diaspora Project.
Teach For Mongolia has signed an official partnership agreement with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) under the Mongol Diaspora Project and began welcoming interns starting in June 2026. This collaboration goes beyond simply providing internship opportunities. It also serves as an important step toward connecting Mongolian youth living abroad with the education sector in their home country, creating meaningful opportunities for contribution, learning, and impact.

The “Summer Institute” for the 5th cohort of the Teach For Mongolia Fellowship Program officially began on June 22.
A new journey is beginning. Participants of the 5th cohort of the Teach For Mongolia Fellowship Program have started their Summer Institute, marking the beginning of their two-year journey as fellowship teachers. Over the next two months, participants will strengthen their teaching methodologies, deepen their understanding of student learning, and further develop their leadership skills while preparing to work with schools and students in rural communities across Mongolia. We wish our newly joined fellowship teachers great success as they begin this meaningful journey. We firmly believe that the path you are starting today will bring positive change to the future of thousands of children.

The retreat training for the 5th cohort of Teach For Mongolia fellows was successfully held in Terelj from June 24–26, 2026.
During the training, participants came together to learn about the program’s core values, collective leadership, teamwork, and educational equity while sharing experiences and building meaningful connections with one another. The retreat also marked the beginning of their journey toward developing the foundational knowledge and skills needed for their upcoming two-year fellowship experience as teaching fellows. More importantly, the training created a valuable environment where new cohort members were united by a shared purpose learning from one another, growing together, and preparing to create positive impact in the communities they will serve.We wish our newly joined fellows continued success as they move forward on this meaningful journey.
