Teach for Mongolia fellowship program
Our program empowers young industry leaders to significantly impact education by serving as primary teachers for two years in secondary schools located in rural areas with teacher shortages, thereby addressing inequality and improving access to education.

A citizen of Mongolia
Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution
Strives to contribute to minimize educational inequality

WHAT TO EXPECT
ENROLL IN THE PROGRAM
Admission to the program is announced each March. If you successfully pass the initial application stage, you will be invited to the second selection stage, which consists of:

SUMMER PROGRAM
Selected participants will join the Teach for Mongolia summer program, which spans 5 to 7 weeks.

WORKING AS A TEACHER IN RURAL AREAS
Participants who successfully complete the summer program will begin teaching at a rural school with a teacher shortage starting the following September 1st. During the program, you will receive:

“Mentor teacher” program to get advice from experienced teachers

Counseling

A mentorship program from every field

English club

Advice of continuity to study at Master’s level after the program

JOIN THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Upon successfully completing the two year program, young participants will become members of the Teach for Mongolia Alumni Association, enabling them to continue making impactful contributions to education across various fields. Additionally, they will join the global network of the Teach for All international association, which operates in over 60 countries. This affiliation offers significant career advantages and opens doors to numerous opportunities in diverse areas.
